L100 - Corbin Trunk Lock & Key

A vintage steel trunk lock with brass rivets, marked "Corbin Cabinet Lock Co. New Britain Conn," with one working barrel key!

This measures 5 1/4" tall and 4" wide at the base, to the edges when all together. If you need more measurements please let me know. The same as Eagle or Yale locks of this style. The lock is in excellent working condition with a satin black painted finish, perfect for antique trunks! This is well made and much heavier weight than the new reproduction trunk locks. This style lock was used on many trunks of the 1880's to early 1900's by many trunk makers. This can be used with or without the backplate on the base piece. This is a surface lock so no holes are needed to install it.

Old authentic American made locks look much better on antique trunks than those foreign made reproduction locks, plus they will increase the value of your trunk. (It is very obvious to most people when you put a new reproduction lock on an antique trunk.) Please email with any questions you may have.
