L112 - Corbin Doll Trunk Lock & Key

A small antique Corbin trunk lock in excellent unused condition! Great size for doll trunks and other small trunks or cases.

Made of steel with the original barrel key. Of course it works perfectly too. The base measures about 2 7/8" wide by 2" tall and the top latch is 2" tall by 2" wide. The lock is marked "Corbin Made in U.S.A." in an oval on the latch. Also marked on the back with the 1913 patent date, "Pat'd 4 - 8 - 13". This is a flat surface mounted lock so it doesn't require any hole in the trunk. No rust, corrosion or damage. May have some minor surface wear from storage for many years. A great lock for small antique trunks of the early 1900's. Very hard to find! When they're gone, they're gone!
