L100 - Antique Trunk Lock & Key

An antique steel, iron, and brass trunk lock, with one working original barrel key! The top hasp piece is iron. The lock has most of the old black paint. Very hard to find!

This measures 3 3/9" wide and 2 1/2" tall at the base. The top hasp piece is a total of 3 1/4" tall by itself. The top piece of the hasp is cast iron. If you need more measurements please let me know. The lock is in very good working condition, perfect for antique trunks! These locks are not reproduced. This style lock was used on many trunks from the 1870's to the early 1900's by many trunk makers. This needs a shallow hole for the base approx. 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" for the base. (See pictures).

Old authentic American made locks look much better on antique trunks than those foreign made reproduction locks, plus they will increase the value of your trunk. (It is very obvious to most people when you put a new reproduction lock on an antique trunk.) Please email with any questions you may have.
