L104 - Eagle Trunk Lock, Ornate Key

A beautiful antique Eagle trunk lock in excellent unused condition! This one is as good as they come. Made of steel with the original Japanned finish, brass key escutchen and rivets, and ornate original barrel key. Of course it works perfectly too. The base measures about 4" wide by 3" tall and the top latch is 3 1/4" tall by 2 5/8" wide. The lock is marked "Eagle Lock Co. Terryville Conn." in a circle just above the keyhole piece. This is a flat surface mounted lock so it doesn't require any hole in the trunk. No rust, corrosion or damage. A great lock for many types of antique trunks of the 1860's through the early 1900's. Would also look wonderful on an antique style chest or other boxes needing a nice lock. Very hard to find!
