T129 - Flat Top Trunk, Canvas Covered, Key & Tray - SOLD 11/2024

Size: 28" wide, 20" tall, 17" front to back. A great size that can be used in many ways! Great for storage also.

A flat top wooden trunk from the 1890's to around 1910 complete with the original wooden inner tray and the working lock. It has the original dark green canvas covering in great condition. A well built trunk with lots of strong hardware, steel braces and front latches. It's made from thick wood with elm exterior slats, showing beautiful woodgrain. The bottom is very clean and has the wood slats. The lock was made by Eagle Lock Company and has the original barrel key. The thick leather handles are original style replacements. The interior of the trunk has been completely cleaned and relined with nice fabric. The trunk is in excellent restored condition and has a finish that is very durable and smooth.
