T129 - Antique Barrel Top Doll Trunk

Size: 16" wide, 11" tall, 9" deep.

An adorable barrel top doll trunk in excellent refurbished condition. This is from the late 1890's to early 1900's and is made of wood with the original canvas covering, wood slats, and fancy metal trim. The dark green canvas is all original with no holes or tears. The wood slats have been cleaned and finished to bring out the color. There are original brass head studs on the wood slats. It's a very sturdy trunk. The leather handles and metal holders are originals also. The original lock is complete but there is no key. The interior has been kept mostly original with the old Victorian lithographed prints and trim in the lid. The lid storage compartment with the cover is all original. This has a nice wood lift out tray covered with fabric. Great for display with your special dolls; to hold jewelry, cd's, tapes, etc.; or just display with your collection! A great collectible doll trunk and very hard to find in such nice condition.
