M101 - Three Antique Trunk Hinges

A set of three heavy duty antique trunk hinges. 6 1/2" tall and 1 1/2" wide at the hinge pins (measured to the edges). Very strong, thick, and in excellent condition, cleaned and painted satin black. The top sections have the small bend to go over the metal edge valance on the lid, but they can also be used on trunks which don't have the metal banding around the lid. A style used from the 1870s to early 1900s on better quality trunks. These are much stronger than the new reproduction trunk hinges and look more original. A style that is not reproduced. Hard to find!
