M112 - Ornate Trunk Corner Clamps

A set of four antique cast iron trunk corner slat clamps or corner braces. These are an ornate style patented in 1877 and they are marked "Pat. Oct 23 '77". (see pictures for details). These are used but have been cleaned some, can be clear coated or painted. These were originally tinned so they had a silver look. Perfect for high quality chests and trunks. They are very strong and free of corrosion. Can be installed with nails, screws, or rivets.

These measure approx. 1 7/8" across the top edge. The two matching arms are 1 5/8" long from the inner corner to the edge. The third arm is 1 3/4" long. Made of strong malleable cast iron. Price: $27.95 for set of 4, INCLUDES postage in the U.S.
