M108 - Cast Iron Trunk Latches #4

A pair of antique cast iron number 4 trunk latches. Very strong and heavy. (sizes were 1 through 5 with 5 being the largest).

Size: 5 3/4" tall by 3" wide when latched together, measured edge to edge.

These are clean, complete, and work well. These were patented in 1878 and used on trunks into the early 1900's by many trunk makers. These have not been repainted and have the old finish with a nice patina.

Price: $58 per pair INCLUDES postage in the United States. Only one pair available. Will ship to other countries for the actual international postage rate.

Note: you don't see sold parts on my website often because I quickly replace them with more antique trunk parts.
