T128 - Antique French Fashion Doll Trunk

Size: 15" wide, 10" tall, 9" deep.

It is quite rare to find early doll trunks with the original colorful paper covering, especially in good condition. This round top French fashion doll trunk has beautiful multicolored covering, metal handles, and a brass lock (no key). I've never seen one with this pattern before in over 45 years of collecting. This is from the early 1900's and is made of wood, cardboard, paper, and metal. The outer slats have small brass tacks and metal corner clamps. The trunk has a few age spots and blemishes but is in great condition overall. The interior has the old white paper lining with an amazing lithographed print of a young lady. Great as a display piece or to show with your special dolls; to hold jewelry, pictures, letters, gloves, etc.! There is no interior tray, but it does come with a variety of old doll clothes. A real collectible doll trunk with a nice original look.
